Kelly Mittelman-Hager is a proud St. Louis native and comes from a strong bloodline of real estate entrepreneurs. She earned a degree in political science from Maryville University in Missouri then relocated to Los Angeles and later spent time living in Australia. Kelly returned to the midwest in 2000 and after holding management positions at a handful of local companies she accepted her calling. In 2005, she founded The Kelly Hager Group which soon thereafter became known as the leading real estate group in the area until an unexpected near-death experience almost took it all away.
In July 2010, a mysterious illness suddenly caused her to be put into a medically induced coma. When she awoke, she was unable to see, walk, make cognitive decisions, and struggled with memory. After being out of the ICU for just a day, her husband said that he wanted a divorce, and left Kelly to care for their 3-year-old son on her own. Despite the dire circumstances, Kelly battled through extensive physical/occupational therapy and recovered. Determined to see past what she had experienced and to focus on what she could make of the future; namely taking care of her son, she pushed on to continue creating a thriving and unique real estate company.
Motivated by her life's circumstances and team’s achievements, Kelly launched her second corporation, LiveTeamLife. Her company encompasses international keynote speaking, business consulting and development. Through her experiences in the public speaking arena she discovered there are a tremendous amount of women who have a story that should be shared. Kelly is now the founder, CEO and executive producer of ARRAS Sisters an organization committed to creating opportunities for women. Her desire to build community and push forward through education, resources, and empowerment is inspiring.
Kelly credits her near-death experience with giving her the clarity to enjoy life, family, her profession and giving back. She goes on to say "Not everyone gets a near death experience. I was one of the lucky ones." Her ultimate goal is to impact the lives of others by helping build business teams, developing business culture, empowering entrepreneurs, and helping them overcome adversity.
